Please note: The Ontario Ministry of Education licensed The Digital Field Trip to The Wetlands and provided one copy to each publicly funded school in the province. Licensed use is for a single standalone computer only. Network licensing must be purchased separately.

We have identified a problem with the version of The Digital Field Trip to The Wetlands that was sent out to publicly-funded schools in Ontario.
The Problem
On the Food Web Game screen, if you click on labrador tea, the application will crash because it cannot find a needed sound file. (You can still access the labrador tea screen from the map, Field Trip screen and other organism screens.)

The Solutions
- If you have copied the entire CD to a hard drive, move the file WETLANDS/MEDIA/VRSCREEN/W28XLTEA.MOV into the folder WETLANDS/MEDIA/WEB
- If you are running The Wetlands application from your hard drive, but the MEDIA is still on the CD, download the following new application.
- Click here if you have a Macintosh. This file will replace the file "The Wetlands" on your hard drive. Once downloaded, copy this file over the one that you installed from the CD.
- Click here if you have a PC. This file will also allow the Weltands to run on monitors set to 24 or 32 bit colour. It will replace the file "WETLANDS.KWP" on your hard drive. Once downloaded, copy this file over the one that was installed by the Setup program (probably in C:\WETLANDS).
- If you do not have the ability to download these files, contact us and we will be happy to send them to you.
